  • Margaret Readdy gave a talk in the Cornell Discrete Computational and Geometry seminar in October 2023 which honored its founding fathers Lou Billera and Bob Connelly.  Her research visit to the Cornell Math Department was funded by NSF.

  • Richard Ehrenborg  has been awarded the Edwards Research Professor. The Edwards professorship was established with a gift from Ralph E. and Norma L. Edwards of Baltimore, MD. Ms. Edwards studied mathematics at the University of Kentucky beginning at the age of 14 and earned her bachelor's degree from UK in 1933.
  • Margaret Readdy is now the Academic Research Manager for the Institute for Advanced Study's WAM program in Princeton. This mentoring program for women was established in 1993. The 2018 program is the Mathematics of Modern Cryptography. It features week-long lecturers Toni Bluher (NSA) and Kristin Lauter (Microsoft Research), a women in sciences seminar, panels chaired by female mathematicians in academic and industry, and a one day visit to the Princeton University Mathematics Department..
