Ohio River Analysis Meeting 2016

The Sixth Ohio River Analysis Meeting

The sixth Ohio River Analysis Meeting will be held on 12-13 March 2016 at the University of Kentucky in Lexington.

This regional conference series is a collaborative event between the research groups in Analysis and Partial Differential Equations at the University of Kentucky and the University of Cincinnati and is scheduled to meet once a year alternating between the two Universities. The goal is to foster closer research collaborations between faculty and students from the two departments and to bring leading experts in the field to the region.

The conference will feature five hour speakers and sessions for contributed talks by graduate students and recently graduated Ph.D.'s. We will be able to offer financial support for some participants. If you wish to submit an abstract for a contributed talk or for full consideration for financial support, please register by 15 January 2016.

The organizing committee for the sixth Ohio River Analysis Meeting is Russell Brown (University of Kentucky), Michael Goldberg (University of Cincinnati), Peter Hislop (University of Kentucky), Zhongwei Shen (University of Kentucky) and Leonid Slavin (University of Cincinnati). Inquiries may be directed to peter.hislop@uky.edu

We thank the National Science Foundation for financial support for speakers and young researchers. Additional support was provided by the Department of Mathematics at the University of Kentucky and by the Department of Mathematics at the University of Cincinnati.  The meeting is organized in cooperation with the Association for Women in Mathematics.
