THE MATHSKELLER HAS MOVED ONLINE as the University works to address national Covid-19 concerns.

We are working with course coordinators to offer tutoring services that align with and appropriately supplement each course's individual needs. A schedule for courses which have allocated tutors to virtual drop-in tutoring via Zoom are below. You should be able to find information regarding how to access these services in the Canvas shell of your course.

Mathskeller: Math Resource Center from UK College of Arts & Sciences on Vimeo.

Open 9AM-5PM, Monday-Friday, Mathskeller is a convenient place for any UK student to come hang out between classes, socialize and get free tutoring, no appointments necessary. The Mathskeller is located in CB63, which is next to the loading dock in the basement of White Hall Classroom Building.

Tutors are available for students in all 100-level math courses, MA213 and  MA214. Our tutors have excellent knowledge of math, since they are graduate students, professors, and math majors at University of Kentucky. Many of the math professors for 100 level classes at UK even hold their office hours down in the the Mathskeller.

The Mathskeller offers flexible, comfortable furniture and amenities for group study, including chalkboards, a private meeting space (the Klein Room) and a small kitchen. Anyone with the math department may reserve the Mathskeller, or the Klein room after hours (after 5pm) by contacting Jonathan Clark (

Klein Room:

The Klein room is the smaller, private room in the Mathskeller and is available for reservation by faculty or math personnell. Below is the current schedule for the Klein room. If you wish to reserve an open spot please email for more details.
