On Thursday, August 21, from 11 to noon we will hold the traditional TAs orientation meeting.  I am copying below the invitation. All graduate students are required to attend. As in previous years, during the TAs orientation meeting there will be brief introductory remarks for the chair, Dr. Uwe Nagel. I will say a few words as director of undergraduate studies. Then the director of service courses, Dr. erica Whitaker,  will focus on the dos and don’ts in undergraduate teaching. Dr. Brad Elliott will say a few words on the resources available in terms of TA mentoring. There will be ample opportunities for questions. 

The traditional course meetings, for coordinated courses, will be scheduled on Thursday January 21 beginning at 1pm, 2pm or 3pm, each an hour long. The schedule is as follows:

1:00 pm:    MA 109, MA 110, MA 111, MA 123

2:00 pm:    MA 113, MA 114, MA 137, MA 138, MA 162

3:00 pm:    MA 201/202, MA 213, MA 214, MA 322

The coordinator of your course will arrange the Zoom call and let you know the details.
