The 4th Ohio River Analysis Meeting

The fourth Ohio River Analysis Meeting will be held Saturday and Sunday, 8-9 March 2014 at the University of Kentucky, Lexington.

This regional conference series is a collaborative event between the research groups in Analysis and Partial Differential Equations at the University of Kentucky and the University of Cincinnati and is scheduled to meet once a year alternating between the two Universities. The goal is to foster closer research collaborations between faculty and students from the two departments and to bring leading experts in the field to the region.

The conference will feature five hour speakers and sessions for contributed talks by graduate students and recently graduated Ph.D.'s. We will be able to offer financial support for some participants.

The organizing committee for the fourth Ohio River Analysis Meeting is Michael Goldberg (University of Cincinnati), Peter Hislop (University of Kentucky), Katharine Ott (University of Kentucky), Leonid Slavin (University of Cincinnati), and Changyou Wang (University of Kentucky). Inquiries may be directed to peter.hislop@uky.edu

We thank the National Science Foundation for financial support for speakers and young researchers. Additional support was provided by the Department of Mathematics, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the Office of the Vice President for Research at the University of Kentucky and by the Department of Mathematics at the University of Cincinnati. The conference is presented in cooperation with the Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM). Katharine Ott is the AWM representative on the organizing committee.
