The Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Energy and Environment Cabinet partnered with the University of Kentucky's Department of Statistics to generate a variety of potential scenarios for the future of energy in Kentucky.

Six UK Students Awarded NSF Graduate Research Fellowships
Five University of Kentucky students and one recent graduate have been selected to receive government-funded National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowships. The fellowships will present the students with more than $100,000 to use toward research-based master's or doctoral degrees.

The 2nd Ohio River Analysis Meeting: John Lewis

On Saturday and Sunday, April 21-22 2012, the University of Kentucky will host the 2nd Ohio River Analysis Meeting.

This series of conferences is a collaboration between mathematics research groups at the University of Kentucky and the University of Cincinnati. The goal is to foster closer research collaborations among faculty and students from the two departments, and to bring leading experts in the fields of analysis and partial differential equations to the region.
